June updates from the Crieff Food Co – Pizzas, Platinum Jubilee, Artisan Gins, New Brunch Menu, Raspberries and Cocktails
Here goes with our June updates. It’s been all go at the Crieff Food Co since our last blog!
We celebrated the Platinum Jubilee, introduced new pizzas, sang the praises of our artisan gins, launched a new brunch menu in our cafe, and added new Angles Dare pre-mixed cocktails to our shop!
Tenuta Marmorelle Pizzas
Made from traditional Italian hand-stretched pizza dough, these wonderful pizza bases from Tenuta Marmorelle give you an authentic Italian pizza experience at home. Gluten-free version also available too – time to check them out in-store!
We got you in the mood for the Platinum Jubilee at the start of June with a Jubilee display in-store plus some celebratory specials!
On the menu was The Crieff Food Co Jubilee tart. Inspired by the official Jubilee tart created for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, this was made from Smoked salmon (representing Scotland), potato (Ireland), leek (Wales) and cheddar (England).
World Gin Day
June 10 was World Gin Day, and this was a great excuse to celebrate with one of our artisan gins. Too many to list here but you can check them out in our shop!
Too late for breakfast, too early for lunch? No problem! That’s what Brunch was invented for! It’s a perfect opportunity to check out our new brunch Café menu at The Crieff Food Co if you haven’t already done so!
In our humble opinion, Perthshire raspberries are the best in the world! That’s why it’s so it’s fantastic to have them in season and in-store right now – so give them a whirl with some cream for a real summer treat!
