September updates from The Crieff Food Co – Rest in peace, Your Majesty, and thank you for a lifetime of faithful service to our Country and the Commonwealth

It’s been a terribly difficult time for us all at The Crieff Food Company as we share in the collective grief and mourning at the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll.

We will be closing on Monday 19th September to join with the nation in paying our respects.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Her majesty for a lifetime of faithful service to our Country and the Commonwealth.

Rest in peace, Ma’am.

We love our Superstar Sourdough from the wonderful Wild Hearth Bakery in Comrie – Harvest Hero of the day on September 7th!

Emergency Services Day

We put a call out for all our customers with a Blue Light card to come into our cafe for a free tea/coffee and cake on Friday 9th September to celebrate Emergency Services Day! It was our privilege and honour to do so.

Meet Mirin – maker of marvellous soup

Mirin loves our homemade soup that she makes in-store and serves fresh every day in our cafe. She reckons that she’s served over 5000 bowls in her time with us! Apart from it tasting great, all of Mirin’s soups are suitable for vegetarians and gluten free.

Strathearn Harvest

The Strathearn harvest is drawing to a close and we’re now reaping the rewards from our incredible local farmers and producers. One of the reasons we absolutely love this time of year at The Crieff Food Co!

Mermaid Zest Gin

Mermaid Zest gin is just terrific – a zesty, aromatic infusion of summer citrus fruits and wild-foraged, coastal botanicals.
